In 2014 he competed in amateur competitions for the Burshtyn's "Enerhetyk". In the winter of 2015, he moved to Poltava's "Vorskla", in whose T-shirt he began playing in the Ukrainian youth championship. In March 2017, he was transferred to the first team of Poltava, which played in the Premier League. He made his debut for the first team of "Vorskla" on April 1, 2017, coming on as a substitute in the match of the Ukrainian Premier League against Lutsk "Volyn". In total, for three years he played 25 matches for the "white and greens", 2 of them fell to the group stage of the Europa League - against London "Arsenal" and Lisbon "Sporting".
At the beginning of 2020 he became a player of the first league "Rukh" (Lviv), for which he played 6 matches by the end of the season and helped to take second place and reach the Premier League, for the first time in the history of the club. There, Taras even managed to play in the first round - against his former team "Vorskla", after which in September he terminated his contract with the club and joined another absolute debutant of the UPL "Mina".
In July 2021, he signed an agreement with Kovalivka's "Kolos", which he joined as a free agent.
