In the CUFL championships he played for Kyiv teams "RVUFK" and "Dynamo". In total, he played 54 games and scored 13 goals in the CUFL Championship of Ukraine.

In the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons he played in the Second League of Ukraine for "Shakhtar-3" Donetsk (39 games, 8 goals).

In the youth championship he played for "Shakhtar" Donetsk. Andrii Totovytskyi has 29 games, 6 goals and a bronze medal in the championship.

From the 2013/14 season, Andrii Totovytskyi played for Mariupol's "Illichivets". Andrii made his debut for him on July 13, 2013 in a match against "Metalurh" Zaporizhzhia. He received his first yellow card in the 18th round of the championship match against "Metalist". He scored his first goal against "Chornomorets" in the 23rd round of the championship in the 68th minute. He also scored goals for "Hoverla", "Shakhtar" and "Tavria".

The 2014-2015 season began with a match against Lutsk's "Volyn". He scored a double in the match against "Hoverla". He scored goals in 38 and 84 minutes and was able to give the club a draw. In the cup match against "Vorskla", he scored a goal in the 2nd minute of the match. Received a yellow card in the next match against the same club. He scored a goal for "Olimpik" in the 28th minute. And then for 40 minutes he received a yellow card. The last match for "Illichivets" was played against the same "Metalurh" against which he played his debut match.

From the second part of the 2014-2015 season, he played for "Zoria" on loan. He made his debut in the match against "Olympic". He scored his debut goal in the match against "Chornomorets" in the 77th minute.

The 2015-2016 season for Andrii started in the 8th round, in a match against Dnipropetrovsk's "Dnipro". The first goal of the season was scored in the quarterfinals of the cup against "Volyn". In the 18th round of the championship he scored a goal for "Chornomorets" when he made a corner kick and also scored a goal pass. Two goals later he scored again and scored a goal pass in the game against "Karpaty". In the 95th minute of the semifinal match of the Cup of Ukraine against "Dnipro", he scored a goal from the penalty spot in the "nine" from the bar and led his club to the final. In the match of the 26th round of the championship against "Shakhtar" he scored a hat-trick. The match ended with a score of 3:2 in favor of Luhansk. He took part in the first final of the Cup of Ukraine in the history of "Zoria".

At the end of August 2016, on lease terms, he became a player of the Belgian club "Kortrijk" until the end of the season. He played in 21 matches and scored 5 goals in the championship. Then he returned to "Mariupol" (22 matches, 5 goals).

At the end of 2018, he returned to "Shakhtar" Donetsk. On January 22, 2020, he signed a two-year contract with Chernihiv's "Desna", for which he played 43 matches (16 goals).

On January 1, 2022, as a free agent, he signed an agreement with Kovalivka's "Kolos", where he will perform under number 17.
