FC "Kolos" Kovalivka has written its name in the history of Ukrainian football as a club from the smallest locality that has ever played in the top division of Ukraine.

FC Kolos Kovalivka is a Ukrainian professional football club founded in 2012. Represents the village of Kovalivka (1.6 thousand inhabitants) in Kyiv region. The president of the club is Andriy Zasukha, the head coach is Ruslan Kostyshyn, the team captain is Vitaliy Havrysh, the home arena is Kolos Stadium.
2012 - 2015 years
For three years the team played in the championship of Kyiv region and three times the players of "Kolos" became its owners, showing a very solid result: 82 calendar matches (69 wins, 4 draws, 9 defeats), the ratio of goals scored and conceded - 264: 49 . Later, after the triumph at the Oleg Makarov Memorial, the team's head coach Ruslan Kostyshyn told the community that the club intends to go into professional football.
In June 2015, FC Kolos received the status of "professional" and a certificate of participation in the Championship of Ukraine among the teams of the second league of the 2015/16 season. The team made its debut in the professional league at the home stadium "Kolos" with an undisputed victory over Bila Tserkva "Arsenal" - 2: 0, and striker Oleksandr Bondarenko scored the first goal. And in his debut season, "Kolos", led by Ruslan Kostyshyn, won the early championship and the right to play in the first league of Ukraine. The PFL of Ukraine recognized Ruslan Kostyshyn as the coach of the year, and the best scorer of the championship Oleksandr Bondarenko - the player of the season.

Kolos ranks 6th in the UPL and becomes one of Ukraine's representatives at the UEFA Europa League tournament.
SEASON 2018/19
And finally, in the 2018/19 season, Kolos fulfilled the dream of its management and all its fans, reaching the Ukrainian Premier League at the end of the season. In 28 matches of the First League Championship, Kolos scored 54 points (15 wins, 9 draws and 4 defeats) and took the second place in the standings, beating Dnipro-1.
However, in order to get to the UPL, Kolos had to play two head-to-head matches against Odesa's Chornomorets. The first game took place in Odessa on June 4 and ended with a score of 0: 0. The return game took place in Kovalivka on June 8. Kolos won 2-0, with both goals scored by captain Vitaliy Havrysh.
Season 2019/2020
The Kolos football club started the 2019/20 season in the elite Ukrainian division - FAVBET LEASE, writing its name in the history of Ukrainian football as a football club from the smallest settlement that has ever played in the Premier League.
Following the results of the 2019/20 season, Kolos took 6th place in the UPL championship and in the playoff games he won the right to play in the qualification for the group stage of the Europa League. In the first, historic for blacksmiths game at the Euro arena "Kolos" on the road won the Greek Aris with a score of 2: 1. Unfortunately, in the next round they failed to pass the Croatian "Rijeka". The score of the main time was 0: 0, and in overtime the hosts managed to score twice - 2: 0 victory over Rijeka.
SEASON 2020/21
In the second season of "Kolos" in the UPL, 14 teams took part in the championship and the fight for the Eurocup Zone intensified considerably. That is why winning the right to represent Ukraine at the Euroarena was twice as prestigious and pleasant for "Kolos" players. "Kolos" ended up in 4th place in the season, which gave the right to participate in a new tournament from UEFA - the League of Conferences.
Thus, for the second season in a row, Kolos won a ticket to the European Cups, and in the UPL championship they improved their last year's achievement by two positions at once.
SEASON 2021/22
The 2021/2022 season in the elite division of Ukraine changed its name and became known as the VBET League.
Unfortunately, Kolos' European Cup campaign ended very early this season. Kovalivka's team failed to overcome the barrier in the form of a rival from Kazakhstan - "Shakhter" (Karaganda). The first match of the 3rd qualifying round of the League of Conferences in Kovalivka on August 5, 2021. ended with a score of 0: 0. In the return match, which took place on August 10 in the capital of Kazakhstan Nur-Sultan at the "Astana-Arena", the teams also did not score goals in the main or in overtime - 0: 0. In the penalty shootout, the hosts won 3: 1 and advanced to the next round.
