Round 9 of the VBET League. "Kolos" - "Vorskla". Match announcement!
On Friday, September 24, at 19:30, Kovalivka will host a match of the 9th round of the VBET League, in which our "Kolos" will play against Poltava's "Vorskla"!
It will be a duel of teams that last season won the right to play in European Cups, and this season plan to compete for a pass to Europe. In the 2020/2021 championship, "Vorskla" took 5th place in the Premier League - the team won 11 games, drew 8 times, and suffered 7 defeats (goal difference - 37:30). As a result, Poltava's residents scored 41 points, as did our "Kolos". But Kovalivka's players were better by the difference in goals. Fifth place allowed "Vorskla" to qualify for the Conference League. In the qualification of the League of Conferences 2021/2022, the Poltava team unexpectedly lost to the Finnish club "KuPS" (2:2, 2:3). Unfortunately, the European Cup campaign for "Kolos", which did not pass Kazakhstan's "Shakhter", ended early.
"Kolos" and "Vorskla" have met five times in official matches - four matches in the championship and one match was a cup match. Poltava won four times (three times in the UPL - 3:0, 1:0, 3:0 and once in the Cup - 1:0). Kovalivka celebrated the victory in the match of the 23rd round of the last championship with a score of 3:0 (Denys Kostyshyn, Viacheslav Churko, Yevhen Smyrny). The highlight of this confrontation is the fact that the history of the meetings is quite uncompromising - the teams have never played a draw with each other.
In the current season 2021/2022, "Vorskla" ranks fifth (as of September 23, 2021). "Vorskla" has 15 points (four wins, three draws and one defeat). The goal difference is 15:7. Yurii Maksymov's team has only one defeat in the current championship - from "Zorya" (0: 1). "Kolos" has 8 points and tenth place in the standings after seven matches (and a game with "Minaj" in reserve).
It should be noted that "Kolos" is represented by Kiril Fesyun, a pupil of the Poltava's "Vorskla" Academy, who made his great debut for the "Kolos" main team in the last round of the UPL against Ingulets. Kiril played reliably and did not miss, and our team won 2-0.
We look forward to the "Kolos"-"Vorskla" match, which starts on Friday, September 24 at 7:30 p.m. Let's support our team together!
