After a two-year break, the youth women's team returns to the training process. In the period from August 23 to 30, the team will gather in Pushcha-Vodytsya and start training at the training base of FC "Obolon".

As part of the training camp, the WU-19 team is scheduled for two control matches with representatives of women's clubs in the major leagues. These sparring matches will also take place at the training base in Bucha.

It will be recalled that the draw for the first round of the European Under-19 Championship took place in March, with a record number of 52 teams. The tournament will be held in a new format, reminiscent of the UEFA League of Nations format.

The new two-year cycle replaces the old qualifying format with qualifying and elite rounds. It includes rounds of group mini-tournaments with ups and downs in the class. The final stage will take place in 2022 in the Czech Republic. The Czech national team automatically received a ticket to the final tournament, but will take part in the first two rounds. The tournament returns after a break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which prevented the championship from being held in the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 seasons.

Based on the results of the draw, the place and dates of the matches in group A1 were determined. Valerii Palamarchuk's proteges will take part in the competitions in the Netherlands from October 19 to 27 this year.

"The blue and yellows" will start with a match against the hosts of the group - the Netherlands (October 20), then their rivals will be the players of the Scottish national team (October 23), and will end the group stage of the Ukrainian on October 26 with a match against Austria.

The seeding of participants before the second round of the draw will depend on which places the teams will take in their groups in the first round.
