"Kolos" will start in the Cup of Ukraine. Announcement of the match against "Metalist"

 On Thursday, October 28, "Kolos" starts its performance in the Cup of Ukraine of the 2021/2022 season - in Kharkiv, our team will meet "Metalist" at the stage of the 1/8 finals.

Currently, Kharkiv's "Metalist" is the leader of the First League, so it should not be confused with the representative of UPL "Metalist 1925". Oleksandr Yaroslavskyi, after ten years out of football, triumphantly returned and announced the revival of the "Metalist" brand. Oleksandr Vladylenovych's plans are very ambitious - to return the Kharkiv team first to the UPL, and then to fight again for championship and European Cup medals. So far, everything is going according to his plan - "Metalist" is confidently in the lead in the First League, and the gap from the second "Kryvbas" is seven points (38 vs. 31). Experts predict that Oleksandr Kucher's team will easily win the First League and reach the Premier League next season.

We will also note Kharkiv's fans. The average attendance of USC "Metalist" is about 88%, and on average each game of the team from the stands watched 35,180 people - today "Metalist" confidently ranks first in attendance among all clubs in Ukraine, including representatives of the UPL.

"Metalist" and "Kolos" have never played each other, so the cup match will be the first in the history of confrontations between our teams.

It will be recalled that last cup season "Kolos" stopped at the quarterfinal stage, losing to "Dynamo" Kyiv only in the penalty shootout.
