On Saturday, July 24, a new football season will start for "Kolos" - in the first round of the VBET League, our team will play in Lutsk against newcomers from "Veres". Although the newcomers are nominally, because the Rivne team has already played in the top division in the 2017/2018 season. Prior to that, "Veres" passed the Second and First Leagues in two years, and in the UPL then entered the top six teams.

The year 2019 became significant for Rivne residents, when Ivan Nadiein became the president of "Veres". Last season, in 2020/2021, the Rivne team won the First League quite confidently - the gap from "Chornomorets" was seven points, and from "Metalist 1925", which took third place, twelve.

It will be recalled that "Veres" and "Kolos" played each other when both teams played in the lower divisions. Rivne football players won once in five matches and Kovalivka's players won four times. Ruslan Kostyshyn's boys won twice in two matches on the "Veres" field.
