VBET League season 2021/2022 is officially over!

The General Meeting of UPL participants took place on Tuesday, April 26. The event, which started at 12:00, was held in video conference format.

The event was attended by the first vice-president of UAF Protasov OV, the head of the legal department of UAF Grishchenko IV, the executive director of UPL Dykyy ES and the UPL Directorate, representatives of all clubs of the Ukrainian Premier League.

During the meeting, the issues of the VBET League of the 2021/22 season and the UPL Youth Team Championship of the 2021/22 season were considered.

The current situation in the UPL was also considered.

Ukrainian Premier League clubs have supported the proposal to end the VBET League of the 2021/22 season, as the Championship cannot be won. The VBET standings of the 2021/22 season are recorded as of February 24, 2022. The winners will not be awarded. The relevant decision will be submitted for approval to the Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association.

The decision on the 2021/22 UPL Youth Team Championship will be made later.

Also, during the General Meeting of UPL participants, a working group was set up to work on the current activities of the Ukrainian Premier League and the start of next season. UPL clubs supported the initiative of UAF President Andrii Pavelko to hold a face-to-face meeting to consider the issues being worked out by the working group.
