Women. “Kolos” - “EMS-Podillya” 2: 0. There is the first victory!

The “Kolos” women's team has finally won its first victory in the Premier League!  In the match of the 5th round our girls defeated Vinnytsia team "EMS-Podillya" 2: 0.

In the middle of the first half, an incredible goal was scored by Yulia Kovalchuk, who in one touch scored on the opponents' goal from twenty-two meters.  After Yulia's shot, the ball hit the crossbar and fell behind the visitors' goal line - 1: 0!

In the second half, the minimum score was held until the 75th minute, until our players organized a swift counterattack.  Olesia Malinovska broke through on the right flank and took Iryna Maiborodina alone with the goalkeeper of “EMS-Podillya”.  Irina used her chance to the fullest, and calmly rolled the ball into the corner of the goal!

2: 0 - “Kolos” wins such a coveted first victory in the Premier League of the 2021/2022 season, and will be in a good mood to prepare for the 6th round.  In a week Lyudmyla Pokotylo's girls will play in Kharkiv against the current champions of Ukraine from the “Zhytlobud-1” team.
