12th round of UPL: "Zoria" - "Kolos" - match announcement!

On Sunday, October 24, "Kolos" will play a match of the 12th round of the VBET League of the 2021/2022 season - in Zaporizhzhia our team will play against Luhansk "Zoria".

This will be Kovalivka's second away match in a row - a week ago "Kolos" played in Dnipro, and lost to "Dnipro-1" with a score of 0:2 (everything was decided in the first half when we missed Danylo Ignatenko and Artem Dovbyk).  Now the guys of Serhii  Kuznetsov are waiting for another interesting opponent, who just the day before yesterday won his first victory in the UEFA Conference League this season.  On Thursday, October 21, Viktor Skrypnyk's team defeated CSKA (Sofia) 1-0 in Bulgaria thanks to a beautiful goal by Iranian Allahyar Sayadmanesh.

As for the championship, "Zoria" is currently in the fifth place in the standings, scoring 20 points - six wins, two draws and three defeats (goal difference 23-15).  Luhansk is nine points ahead of Kovalivka, but our team still has a game in hand.  In the previous round (11th) "Zoria" defeated "Shakhtar" Donetsk 1:6 in Kyiv, although before this match they won three in a row - 3-0 at home over "Chornomorets", 4-0 over "Dnipro-1" away 4:0 and over "Desna" at "Slavutych-Arena" 2:0.

If we recall last season, "Kolos" in the 2020/2021 championship managed to take away points from "Zoria" twice - in the first round there was a draw in Zaporizhzhia 1:1 (Kochergin - Seleznyov from the penalty spot at 90 + 3), and in the second round in  Our Kovalivka's team beat rivals 1:0 (Lysenko).

Prior to that, "Kolos" and "Zoria" had met four times, and Victor Skrypnyk's players celebrated the victory in all four matches.

The new meeting of these teams promises a new intrigue - how our guys will overcome the crisis that continues this season.  We are preparing to support "Kolos" on Sunday, October 24 - the game will start at 19:30 at Slavutych Arena.  Watch the live broadcast of the match on our website (the Football Hub will show the match in open access on YouTube), as well as the meeting between "Zoria" and "Kolos" will be broadcast live by UNIAN TV channel.
