U-19 Championship: “Kolos” will host “Veres”

On Saturday, November 27, in Kalynivka, our youth team will play a match of the 16th round of the U-19 Championship against Rivne's "Veres".

This will be the second meeting of these teams in history, because before that the club from Rivne played in the First League, and its first face-to-face match was played in the first round of the current championship.  Then Kovalivka beat rivals with a score of 1:0 thanks to a goal by Anton Tsyhankov.

Currently, "Veres" U-19 is on the penultimate step in the standings, which is not surprising for newcomers to the tournament.  Orest Bal's team has 7 points after fifteen matches (2 wins, one draw, 12 losses; 8:38 goal difference).  It should be noted that the youngsters of "Veres" continue a very unpleasant losing streak in the championship - eight defeats in a row with a total difference of 3:26.

"Kolos" U-19 is currently on the tenth step in the table, scoring 19 points.  In the last round, Oleksandr Pozdieiev's guys defeated another outsider of the championship "Deena" 7:0 and were preparing for a meeting with "Veres" in a fighting mood.
