U-19 Championship: “Kolos” will play away against “Inhulets”
We continue to watch the Ukrainian U-19 championship - on Friday, September 17, our youth team will play a match of the 8th round against "Inhulets".
Oleksandr Pozdeyev's guys are very serious about this away match, because everyone wants to correct the situation that has developed recently. "Kolos" U-19 wants to break the losing streak, which is already four matches in a row. Starting on August 14, Kovalivka lost to "Rukh" (0: 5), "Oleksandria" (0: 1), "Dynamo" (1: 5) and "Mariupol" (1: 3). Especially unfortunate was the defeat in the 7th round - with a score of 1: 2 with "Mariupol" the goalkeeper of the guests pulled a penalty kick from Martin Jose (who had previously scored the first penalty), and immediately Azov had a quick counterattack, which ended with a goal in our goal.
Before this round, our team has six points and thirteenth place in the standings. But "Inhulets" U-19 is even lower - the young men from Petrovo have four points (one victory and one draw in seven matches) and fourteenth place. Interestingly, our rivals also have a four-match losing streak - defeats from "Dynamo" (1: 2), "Lviv" (0: 1), "Mariupol" (0: 1) and "Oleksandria" (1: 2). As you can see, the "Inhulets" players have no failures and big scores, and the last four defeats are only in one goal.
If we recall the last season 2020/2021, in the first round in Kalinovka "Kolos" lost 0: 2, and in the second round took revenge on the road, winning 2: 1 (Artem Safonchik, Stanislav Ursolov).
This season will be the first face-to-face meeting of teams that are very eager to break their unpleasant series. Let's support "Kolos" on Friday and watch the live broadcast of the match on our website (starting whistle - at 13:00).
