A year ago, a new “Kolos” stadium was opened in Kovalivka!

Exactly a year ago, on September 2, 2020, a brand new "Kolos" Stadium was solemnly opened in Kovalivka!  The president of our club Andrii Zasukha and the head of UAF Andrii Pavelko symbolically cut the red band, were the first to walk around the brand new arena, and then talked to journalists.

During this year, our stadium hosted matches of all-Ukrainian and international levels, and the lion's share of matches, of course, was held by our football team "Kolos", which for the second year in a row won the right to represent Ukraine in European Cups!

In addition, "Kolos-Arena" became a landmark for our women's team, which held the last round of the First League of the 2020/2021 season.  Kovalivka's girls defeated rivals 4:0, took first place in the standings and won a pass to the Premier League in their first season!

Also, the youth national team of Ukraine played a qualifying match for EURO-2021 at our stadium, and the head coach of our youth Ruslan Rotan, despite the winter weather, liked to play in Kovalivka so much that he expressed a desire to hold a qualifying match for EURO-2023 Ukraine - Armenia.  "Kolos-Arena".  UAF gladly went to the meeting, and soon - on September 7, our stadium will host a match of youth teams of Ukraine and Armenia!  The game starts at 19:00.  How to order tickets - information here!

In addition to the youth team, Kovalivka's sincerity was appreciated by the national women's teams of Ukraine and Northern Ireland, which played a playoff match for the 2021 European Championship. 

This summer, for the first time in history, our stadium hosted a European Cup match.  "Kolos" and Kazakhstan's "Shakhter" played the first match of the third qualifying round of the Conference League!

The finalists of the Kyiv Region Cup also had the honor of playing at the brand new arena, as the final of the regional tournament took place at "Kolos-Arena", and the guests of honor were Andrii Pavelko and Andrii Zasukha.  By the way, this is the first amateur final attended by the UAF president, which speaks of the great respect of the head of the Ukrainian Football Association for our club and Kovalivka.

The new season 2021/2022 has already started, and congratulating our stadium and club on the anniversary of the opening, we are preparing for new unforgettable matches, bright emotions and we wish our teams victories in domestic competitions and on the international arena!
