Ruslan Kostyshyn headed “Aksu” (Kazakhstan). Thank you for everything, Ruslan Volodymyrovych!
Ruslan Kostyshyn accepted the offer to head "Aksu" club from Kazakhstan and left "Kolos" by agreement with the president of our club Andrii Zasukha. It will be recalled that Ruslan Volodymyrovych had a current contract with "Kolos", but representatives of the Kazakh club repeatedly offered Kostyshyn to work as the head coach of "Aksu" (Pavlodar), which is a newcomer to the Supreme Division of the Kazakh Championship.
Ruslan Kostyshyn is an iconic figure for "Kolos", having passed with the team an incredible way from amateurs to European Cups. Under the leadership of Ruslan Volodymyrovych, "Kolos" won the Second and First Leagues; went to the UPL, where last season he won the historic fourth place in the championship of Ukraine; represented Kovalivka in the Europa League and the Conference League. In the fall of 2021, Kostyshyn Sr. resigned as head coach and took over as vice-president of the club, but he received regular offers from other clubs.
Ruslan Volodymyrovych! Thank you for the incredible historical moments that our team gave to the fans under your leadership! The whole team of the club wishes you success in a new football adventure!
