Women. “Kolos” lost to “Zhytlobud-2” - 0:3

In the match of the 7th round of the Premier League, the Championship of Ukraine among women's teams "Kolos" was held at home by the three-time national champion of Kharkiv’s "Zhytlobud-2" with a score of 0:3.

In the first half, our girls looked decent, and in the starting half hour of the game put up a solid resistance to the favorites.  However, in the 29th minute our defense missed the breakthrough of Yana Kalinina, who opened the scoring after a shot from the left flank.  Kovalivka's footballers almost didn't have time to take a break to catch their breath - a few seconds before the rest whistle Veronika Andrukhiv doubled the advantage of the famous guests with a great kick under the crossbar.

And in the 56th minute, our young striker Anna Kaverzina went into the game, but lost the ball, and the Kharkiv’s team launched a swift counterattack.  Roksolana Kravchuk performed a solo pass and beat our goalkeeper Iryna Slavych (our first number Iryna Sanina did not take part in the game due to an injury she received in the national team of Ukraine before the control match against the Turkish team).

0:3 - “Zhytlobud-2” continued its winning streak, Valentyna Kotyk's team won six games in six matches, and “Kolos” had three points left in the standings.  Lyudmyla Pokotylo's girls will play the next game in a week against “Voskhod” (Stara Mayachka) from Kherson region.
