BIOGRAPHY
He started playing football at the age of 5, for the first time his grandfather brought him to the football section. He signed his first professional contract in 2003 with Kyiv's "Arsenal", but never played a single match in the main team of Kyiv's gunners. During his stay at the Kyiv club (until 2006) he played 19 matches for "Arsenal" in the doubles championship.
He made his debut in adult football on July 26, 2003 in the away match of the 1st round of the Ukrainian championship among clubs of group B of the second league between Chernihiv "Desna" and "Arsenal-2" (Kyiv). He scored the first goal in his professional career on March 28, 2003 in the away match of the 9th round of Group B of the second league of the Ukrainian championship between Dnipropetrovsk "Dnipro-2" and "Arsenal-2" (Kyiv). In total, in 2003 he played 23 matches for "Arsenal-2" and scored 4 goals.
In 2007 he played for the club "Yednist" (Plysky), in which he played 24 matches in the championships of Ukraine and scored 5 goals, 2 more matches (1 goal) for the Plysky team played in the Cup of Ukraine. He spent the second part of the 2007/08 season in the first league FGC "Prykarpattia", in which he played 16 matches. He spent the first part of the 2008/09 season as a member of Brovary's "Nafkom", which played 20 matches (4 goals) in the second league. He spent the second part of this season as a member of the capital "CSKA", as part of which he played 12 matches in the championships of Ukraine and scored 2 goals, 1 more match in the T-shirt of the capital's gunners held in the Cup of Ukraine. In 2009 he defended the colors of Rivne "Veres", in which he played 8 matches.
Since 2012, he defended the colors of the club "Kolos" (Kovalivka), with which he went from amateurs (championship of Kyiv region) to the elite Ukrainian division - the Premier League, to which "Kolos" made its way following the results of the 2018/19 season. He played only one match in the UPL and was forced to end his career early due to back problems. At the end of his career, the player accepted the offer of the club's management to work with young people. So, at first Oleksandr led the second team "Kolos" U-19. After the disbandment of this team, he became the head coach of Kolos U-19, replacing Vladyslav Savchuk.
Kolos U-19, led by Oleksandr Pozdieiev, took 6th place in the 2020/21 season, scoring 39 points. Among the vivid memories of that season is the victory in the first round away against "Shakhtar" Donetsk with a score of 1: 0.
