Round 14. "Kolos" - "Shakhtar" 1:3. Defeat for which we are not ashamed

 In the match of the 14th round of the VBET League, "Kolos" lost to "Shakhtar" 1:3 in Kovalivka, but gave a very bold aggressive game.

Although, everything started badly for Kovalivka's team. Already in the 15th minute, our coaching staff had to make a forced replacement. Taras Sakiv was injured and was replaced by Oleh Ilin. Immediately after the substitution, the "pitmen" executed a free kick and Mykola Matvienko, ahead of our defenders, sent the ball into the net - 0:1. In ten minutes, the guests doubled the advantage - Artem Bondarenko sent a meeting with Yevhen Volynets Brazilian Fernando, who beat our goalkeeper in a duel - 0:2.

But Kovalivka's players did not give up - "Shakhtar" calmed down, and our guys were looking for different options ahead. And four minutes before the break they found it. Zolotov joined the attack on the right flank and made a canopy on Volodymdr Lysenko. Our striker won the fight against Vitao, who played awkwardly, and the ball flew to Ilin. Oleh forced Anatolii Trubin to capitulate with a brilliant bypass blow - 1:2!

In the second half, the "pitmen" generally began to play to keep the score, and the players of "Kolos" acted boldly and aggressively. Ilin had the most real chance to equalize the result and shock the Donetsk team in the middle of the half, but the ball hit the goal post after his shot.

But Roberto De Zerby was helped by a substitution. In the 67th minute, Mykhailo Mudryk replaced Manor Solomon, who scored in nine minutes - 1:3.

In the last minutes, Kovalivka's team organized a small assault, which ended in a corner. After a pass from the corner, the same Ilin hit Trubin in the crossbar!

Despite the defeat, we liked our game, although "Kolos" has 11 points left in the standings. Now the championship is paused for international matches, and the next game will be played on Sunday, November 21 - in the 15th round, "Kolos" will play against "Desna" in Chernihiv.
